Frantoio Mariano Falco is located in Caltabellotta (AG) a few km from Sciacca. The company was born from an idea of Mariano Falco in 1933, and since then it is a story of passion and dedication for the production of excellent Extra Virgin Olive Oil from Cultivar Biancolilla (or Buscionetta or Bianciuzza). Mariano’s passion was passed on to his son Biagio and his nephew Mariano, from whom the oil mill took its name. Today the mill is run by Mrs. Giusi Falco and her husband Nicola Nicolosi who perpetuate the strategy of quality and seriousness. In 2008 the mill moved to Contada Todaro, where it was equipped with new technology and a photovoltaic system for clean energy, to the benefit of the environment. Today, Lady Giusi, “Lady Biancolilla”, can boast of producing one of the most appreciated and elegant Biancolilla della Sicilia IGP and BIO, recognized and valued at the highest levels by the most demanding panels; ultimately it is one of the most exclusive Biancolilla in the world.
